AI-assisted incident response
An incident update overstates impact and recovery. See how evidence could support clearer communication while keeping cause and recovery uncertainty visible.
CHRIS GORDON
My background spans platform product ownership, enterprise service management and cross-team delivery. These examples show how I apply that experience to practical AI adoption, with clear context and human review.
Compare original records with illustrative AI-assisted versions, then inspect the supporting sources.
Fictional, authored examples. No live AI or connected business systems.
A ticket, request or coordination plan
Connect context · explain gaps · propose next steps
Verify the evidence · retain authority
EXPLORE THE EXAMPLES
Start with Incident Response, or choose the task closest to your work. Each example preserves the original, shows proposed assistance and explains what people still decide.
An incident update overstates impact and recovery. See how evidence could support clearer communication while keeping cause and recovery uncertainty visible.
A routine maintenance request overlooks wider dependencies. Surface overlapping work and gaps in test evidence before the change authority decides.
Component readiness does not establish release readiness. Connect version-specific evidence, activation timing and validation/support handoffs before the go-live decision.
“Same access as Alex” leaves key details unclear. Use relevant knowledge to clarify the request, recognize existing approval and draft a handoff that stays pending.
A dashboard request hides different expectations. Expose the ambiguity and propose bounded scope with testable examples, without inventing agreed rules.
FROM EXAMPLE TO ADOPTION
Connect the records and local rules the task needs. Make gaps visible instead of filling them with assumptions.
Keep responsibilities, permissions and processes current. People retain the decisions that the assistance informs.
Fit suggestions into existing work. Check evidence and usefulness before expanding what the system can do.
Each demo’s “Putting this into practice” section pairs business preparation with technical implementation:
Chris directs the business tasks, audience, scope and evidence-led approach, and reviews the presentation. Requirements, fictional scenarios, interface implementation and draft explanations were developed with AI assistance. Scenario judgments, acceptance examples and reference labels remain draft unless an explicit review is recorded.
These authored comparisons illustrate potential applications and practical adoption work. They are not live AI outputs, client implementations or benchmarks. No measured savings, accuracy or business improvement is claimed.
